Who we are

Founded by a husband-and-wife team with a background in engineering, design, and a healthy obsession with privacy, we built Purple Parrot to solve a problem we felt personally: how to keep our daughter safe, without giving away her data. Today, she’s two years old and already has strong opinions — we joke she’s on the board, but only votes “yes” to snacks.

We believe that parenting tech should be powerful, private, and profoundly respectful of your home. That’s why every part of Purple Parrot is built with care, from the algorithms that run locally on-device, to the hardware that looks right at home in yours.

This is not just a business for us — it’s personal. And we wouldn’t trust anyone else with our child’s wellbeing. Neither should you.
